Personal Log 28.07.2009 21.16 Game time
Well, That incident was Interesting, Since i couldnt find the button to record what was going on, i will recite it here, In the Space Station Shihuken VIII - moon 2 - Space control Logistic, I approached a contact of mine for a job, Which i happily accepted. To hunt down and kill several Pirates in the neighboring system, Little did i know the hole i put myself into.
Entering the combat area in my Rohk, Which if you dont know is equiped with 4 Medium artillary Howiters, and 3 Missile lauchers, Plus one Probe launched, THis ship has several subsystems which i wont go into, but as it looks. the ship i have has been fitted for Long range combat. Well. I was shocked.
Entering the area i emerged at Long range, Picking off several ships before they got with in 10 kilometers. but then as the other 24 ships ranged me. i was in for a fight of my life, And i know what your thinking, A rohk vs Pirates well, not hard to win. but let me tell you this. One Rohk, vs 24 smaller, faster ships. Biggy.. Kinda reminds me of a death by a thousand cuts. One wont hurt.. more like. annoy like a paper cut. But 24 firing none stop wears the shields down. lucky i had the fortune to have a shield restoration subsystem and kept it at bay. never letting my shields past 30% but that played hell with my Capacitor. Im sure i will have to go into space dock very soon for a Bit of a tweek.
After the battle. i counted up the kills and i had 24 EOM fiends and Incubus and Imps. Which might not sound much, but imagine them all surrounding you and none stop firing while you wait for your 15 year old targeter to lock onto them because you thought a coffee machine in your Quarters would be better then having a better tracker.
So i returned to the Boss, showed my sensor logs and got the cash. now i should go get a new targeter..ooo..i didnt know there was a caldari vending machine shop round here....
